Great meal last night in Grado. Typical Asturian stew with cabbage, chorizo, ham, garlic and haricot beans. Very satisfying. Breakfast at the hotel as it was included but hampered by an elderly french couple looking like they spend their lives permanently anxious and blocking access to all areas at just the moment you wanted to reach stuff. Still a nice start to the day.
Weather was variable all day but always when it threatened to rain, it stopped after we had put down our rucksacks and donned waterproofs ! So had to stop and put them away before boiling.
25k today with a lot of climbing still too foggy to enjoy the views but we did find a friendly donkey at 1500 metres. The track was hard at times as it detiorated into mud and rocks. There were a lot of nice fellow pilgrims, particularly a Catalan man who was the official translator at last year's America's Cup in Barcelona.
Arrived safely in Sallas, which looks a lovely old town.
