Great night in Estella. Lovely place and a great meal. Stayed at a cheap Pension which was comfortable and beautifully sited in the centre of town. We decided to leave early due to to the heat and we're on the road at 6.00. 22k hike was beautiful through stunning countryside.

Arrived in Los Arcos. Another beautiful little town at 12.00. Had lunch in the town square surrounded by our fellow travellers. Americans are loud but combined with Australians quite deafening!! However, all lovely people and really bound together in a common purpose of just getting to Santiago. However, almost everybody will have a slightly different reason for making the Camino. It might be bereavement, life event such as divorce or career or even spiritual. I believe we're all hoping for answers that we know it might give. I'm hoping to find out what my future will be without the person who I thought would pre-decease me. We're only 1 week in but I can feel something. Talking with John is also a great help.. Anyway, tomorrow we leave Navarre and the Basque Country and enter the Rioja Area. A long road of 28k lies ahead still in the heat wave!

Hopefully I will find an answer in the rising sun.
