Well after 780k and 32 days hard graft, we have finally arrived in Santiago. It is a big city, not particularly attractive on the outside but the historic centre and Cathedral are beautiful.

We went to the pilgrims mass, which was very moving even if I couldn't understand a word. The last time I was here, Siobhan was with me and as a Catholic, was able to participate. But she's gone and I have to accept that. During the service, a beam of sunlight came through the tower. Was this a sign from her above? I want to believe that, so so much.

Anyway, back on the road tomorrow to do 4 more days and 90k more to get to see the sunset at Cape Finisterre. I'm glad we're not finishing this odyssey here, I need some more reflection time before I head home. I have to digest what I've been told by the Camino and what it all means.
