Last night we had a lovely dinner with a husband and wife from Queensland. They do ultra marathons which became useful because I had the worst attack of cramp in my right leg. Lasted more than 20 minutes!!
Fortunately this couple were my saviours with sachets of electrolytes which sorted everything out.
Set off this morning after breakfast provided by our host who was just like everyone's grandmother. The hostel was packed to the rafters full of nic nacs. It was a fairly savage climb upto Foncebadden at 1400m. The track was rocky and difficult and the sun was very hot. Spanish flies seem to take a liking to me which made it very unpleasant!
Anyway, we made it upto this charming hilltop village where the views are spectacular.
Tomorrow we climb to the highest point of the Camino.
