17.6 Rest day in Santiago

Strange to feel the Camino is over. We went to the Cathedral for the pilgrims mass. Although I'm not religious, it does provide a poignant ending to our adventure. Afterwards, we met up with 2 companies who we had seen on the way, Irish Tommy and Helga from Germany. Both lovely people and good company. Last year, I was glad to leave Santiago because we were going onto Cape Finisterre and the Ocean. This year feels different and it's been lovely to explore Santiago, it may be the last time I'm here. The Pilgrim museum was very nice and free. Still, never say never.

So bus to Porto in the morning and maybe a new phase in my lifem
