11.6 128k to go til Santiago

After our day off, we set off early. Got caught in a thunderstorm which followed us all morning. All of us very wet but the sun came out in the afternoon to show off the beautiful Galician country side.

A weird thing happened: I was walking down a hill when I heard a cheery buen camino. I looked and saw a smiling face. I recognised Maron who John and I met on the French way last year. He is from Las Vegas but not with his daughter this time. The story of her is in the first book!

Anyway, we enjoyed a nice coffee and cake with him and caught up. He does the Camino every year in one form or another, it's his vacation. So everyone to their own.

Met our first Australians, a nice couple from Canberra. Our friend Chris from Herts didn't appear today, did he winge out because of the weather?!!
