Morning all. I thought I should just give some background information about us. Siobhan was a teacher at the Barclay School Old Stevenage Herts and before at Hitchin Girls School She taught Health and Social Studies. Before having our daughter Olivia, she was an operation theatre sister at the Lister Hospital Stevenage. I was a Consultant Anaesthetist at the same institution. We met at St Marys Hospital Portsmouth and we were together from 20.5.94. So it would have been our 30th Anniversary in 2 weeks. We moved upto North Herts in 1997 when I got my consultant job. Olivia arrived 10.9.98. We lived in a charming little hamlet called Redhill just 5 miles outside Baldock. This was our little house.

Why did we up sticks and move to Spain, please read further blogs!!! Any way, this afternoon Olivia and myself are going to check out some sights to scatter Siobhan´s ashes. We are going to try out the funicular from Benalmadena upwards which should have fabulous views. Siobhan always wanted to be in the breeze over her beloved Costa del Sol ! More photos tomorrow but it is a bit overcast which is great for intrepid pilgrims (nice and cool on my morning 6K) but not great for pics! Clever Olivia designed this logo for the fundraiser. She is going to teeshirts for me and John to wear on the Camino but also for raising more money. Neices Hettie and Jasmine have kindly agreed to help.
